Bill Forbes is to compete in the Ginetta G40 Cup for a second season, continuing his partnership with, York based, Quattro Motorsport.

After making his racing debut in the Ginetta Racing Drivers Club, in 2017,  Forbes, 38, stepped up to the G40 Cup last season. 2018 saw a number of top six finishes, leading to a respectable seventh place in the overall standings, thus providing a good foundation for the coming season.

“I can’t wait to get going in the Ginetta G40 Cup again and I’m hoping to build on my performances from last year, grow as a driver and get a podium finish that has so far eluded me!” said Forbes.

“Quattro Motorsport were the only choice for me. I enjoy their team atmosphere and they help me get the most out of my car with great set-up and driver advice.”

The G40 Cup will once gain run alongside the British GT Championship for 2019, providing a popular stepping stone for up and coming drivers.
