The 2020 GT World Challenge Endurance Cup will see Andrew Watson return to the Garage 59 team to race in the Silver class.

Watson will be racing alongside Valentin Hasse-Clot and a third driver yet to be unannounced. They will be heading to Imola on 25 July to commence the GT World Challenge season before heading to the Nurburgring, Spa 24 Hours, and the final round at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The Belfast-born driver will be racing with Garage 59 team for a fifth season and will surely be looking to continue what has been a successful partnership that has produced many podium finishes including a third place at Bathurst at the start of the year.

It’s been a long wait but we’re finally ready to go racing again,” Andrew said.

“We’re in the fifth year of our journey together as a team and you can really sense that. It feels like home, we all get on really well and that is always a massive boost for us as a team. There’s a great calendar lined up for the year, including the 25 Hours of Spa – which will be an interesting challenge for us all – and we’re all really excited to get started.

“I’m very much looking forward to starting the season properly next week at Imola with the Garage 59 team, so a big thanks to the team for showing their support in me again this year!”
