Reigning Intelligent Money British GT champion Jonny Adam makes his return to the series as he partners up with Garage 59 to tackle the end of season Silverstone 500.

Four time champion Adam will partner up with Garage 59 team leader Alexander West to race an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 to make the team’s and West’s British GT debut.

The Leicestershire based Garage 59 outfit, who are the 2016 Blancpain GT Endurance champions and current GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup Pro-Am championship leaders have have racked up plenty of success across the world but have never tackled the series before.

But the team arrives fresh from claiming a Total 24 Hours of Spa podium last weekend with Adam and West part of the lineup.

Silverstone also represents Adam’s second British GT outing of the year following his one-off entry with Andrew Howard and Beechdean AMR at Brands Hatch.

He has since won Le Mans’ Pro-Am class with TF Sport, against whom he’ll be racing next weekend.

“I’m excited to be joining Alex and the Garage 59 crew at the Silverstone 500, the final round of British GT,” he said.

“It’s a strategic race being three hours and a circuit that should suit our Aston Martin Vantage GT3 perfectly.

“We have tested well there this season so we’re looking forward to joining in with what promises to be a fantastic season finale.”
