In this article, we have gathered all of the calendars for series’ that run under the FIA European Rally Trophy banner, as well as the FIA RGT Cup and the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship also.
Starting off firstly with the FIA European Rally Trophy – Alps Rally Trophy, it will feature a total of four rounds next year, with the season beginning with the 67th running of the Rallye Sanremo in Italy between 8-10 April and ending with two rallies in Switzerland – where the famous Rallye International du Valais will feature as the championship finale between 21-23 October.

Around the Balkan region where the FIA European Rally Trophy – Balkan Rally Trophy will take place, there are a total of five rounds scheduled for next year. This begins with the Esok Rally in Turkey on 24/25 April which will play host to the season start, with the championship ending with its annual finale on the Serbia Rally on 24-26 September.

The smaller FIA European Rally Trophy – Baltic Rally Trophy will only feature three rounds in 2021. The season kicks-off with together with the FIA European Rally Championship on Rally Liepaja in Latvia on 1-3 July, followed up by Rally Rokiskis in Lithuania and ending its season with Rally Estonia – both of the rallies are still missing a date and will be confirmed in due course.

Next, the Belgian series – more often known as the FIA European Rally Trophy – Benelux Rally Trophy – will feature four rounds for 2021, with the championship starting with the legendary Ypres Rally on 25/26 June and ending with Rallye du Condroz on 5-7 November.

The FIA European Rally Trophy – Celtic Rally Trophy – held mainly around Britain and Ireland – will take place over seven rounds starting with the annual West Cork Rally in Ireland on 20/21 March and it’s set to end its calendar with the Cork 20 International Rally on 25/26 September.

Next up is the FIA European Rally Trophy – Central Rally Trophy, which sees eight rounds on its 2021 calendar and the first two events taking place in the Czech Republic. The 40th edition of the famous Valasska Rally Valmez is scheduled between 26-28 March and will feature as the season-opener for 2021.

The FIA European Rally Trophy – Iberian Rally Trophy – famous for producing several up and coming young talents before they enter the FIA European Rally Championship – will contest six rounds in both Spain and in Portugal. The season starts with the annual Rally Sierra Morena between 8-10 April and ends with the Portugese Rally Casinos do Algarve on 19/20 November.

The new-for-2021 FIA European Rally Trophy – Scandinavian Rally Trophy championship – designed as a ‘main’ series in Northern Europe, will have three events in 2021 in its debut season.
The year starts with the South Swedish Rally on 14/15 May, followed up by myself (Pontus’) own local event – the Pohjanmaa Ralli in Finland on 18/19 June. The season ends in Denmark with the Sydhavsrally on 27/28 August.

The FIA RGT Cup will contest a total of five rallies in 2021, including as part of the FIA World Rally Championship on Rallye Monte Carlo between 21-24 January. They’ll also rejoin the WRC field on RallyRACC-Catalunya – Rally de Espana in Spain on 14-17 October for the final round of the year.

Finally, the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship will take place over nine rounds spread across the whole of Europe, including the annual season-opener in Spain on Rally Costa Brava between 11-13 March. Rallye International du Valais in Switzerland will be the location for the final round of the year between 21-23 October.
