Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod took victory in Race one of the weekend, Loggie extending his lead in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship. Callum Macleod brought the car home ahead of the WPI Motorsport Lamborghini of Phil Keen. Jonny Adam and Flick Haigh look set to win before a late puncture took them out of contention. Sam and Richard Neary took the final step of the podium and the Silver-Am win.

There was late chaos in GT4, the Team Parker Racing Porsche Cayman of Jamie Orton and Seb Hopkins took a post-race penalty for avoidable contact with the Academy Motorsport Mustang which saw the Mustang drop nine laps down and finish twenty-ninth overall. This enabled Jamie Day and Josh Miller to become the youngest winners of a British GT event by combined age at just 33 years and 152 days, breaking the previous record by over a year. Sennan Fielding and Richard Williams started the race in the pit lane but managed to come home second after a storming drive through the field. The Newbridge Motorsport Aston Martin of Matt Topham and Darren Turner claimed third in class.

With 6 minutes left to run, Flick Haigh and Jonny Adam looked set to take their first win of the season following their return to the championship. Unfortunately, a left rear puncture ruined this chance, forcing them out of the race. The #6 Mercedes AMG of Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod inherited the lead and took the win to extend Loggie’s championship lead.

Loggie led the race from pole position, but with a five-second success penalty to suffer, he was unable to extend his gap far enough to clear the chasing Flick Haigh. Jonny Adam took the wheel of the 2 Seas car at the pit stop, jumping ahead of Callum Macleod who took the wheel of the Ram Racing Mercedes in the process.  Jonny Adam pulled an early lead out of the pits, but this began to close as the Scot navigated through slower traffic, at the point of puncture the lead was down to 2.5 seconds. Adam was forced to crawl back to the pits and retire. Phil Keen was relentless in his pursuit of Macleod during the final stint of the race, the 6 second gap after the pit stops, closed to just half a second at the flag.

The Team Abba Racing Mercedes claimed third spot on the Podium and the Silver-Am win. Richard Neary climbed two places early on, including passing the spinning Mark Sansom in the Assetto Motorsport Bentley before handing over to Sam Neary to bring the car home.

The #15 Ram Racing Mercedes of Lewis Williamson and James Cottingham came home fourth, with the Enduro Motorsport McLaren of Morgan Tillbrook and Marcus Clutton taking fifth after their 10 second Success Penalty following their Donington win.

Josh Miller and Jamie Day made history this weekend, becoming the youngest ever race winners in the British GT Championships 30-year history, lowering the previous record held since 2017 when Will Tregurtha and Stuart Middleton took their first win.

Matt Cowley and Marco Signoretti look set to take the win in the Academy Motorsport Ford Mustang, however, a late clash with the Team Parker Porsche Cayman knocked the Mustang out of contention and resulted in a post-race stop and go penalty for the Porsche.

The Steller Motorsport Audi failed to make the grid due to an electrical issue, but swift work from the mechanics got the car going from the pit lane and importantly, out on the lead lap.

The Mustang made a great start from pole position, pulling out a substantial early advantage, with the aim of overcoming their 10-second Donington Success Penalty. The Toyota Gazoo Racing UK GR Supra of Tom Edgar, the R Racing Aston Martin of Josh Miller and the Team Parker Porsche of Jamie Orton were locked in an early three-way fight for 2nd place. Orton managed to secure third place before making an early pit stop whilst the other two ran a longer opening stint. Seb Hopkins overtook the Toyota during the pit window with Tom Edgar and Jordan Collard held up with a Success Penalty.

With nine minutes left on the clock, Signoretti held the lead, but contact on the run into Brundle Corner with the Team Parker Porsche, spun the Mustang across the front of the Porsche, causing left rear suspension damage. Seb Hopkins was dealt a 10 second stop and go penalty which would be served post-race. Jamie Day and Josh Miller inherited the win.

The Valluga Racing Porsche of Ross Wylie and Matthew Graham received a stop and go penalty for a pit lane infringement, removing them from podium contention. Freddie Tomlinson and Joe Wheeler were hit by a penalty after colliding with a passing GT3 car whilst the Paddock Motorsport McLaren of Ashley Marshall and Moh Ritson stopped out on track.

With all the action on track, Fielding managed to get the Steller Motorsport Audi up the order, securing second place with a move on Darren Turner on the run into Riches. Turner and Topham settled for third and took the Pro-Am win.

Elsewhere, Jordan Collard and Tom Edgar came home fourth in the Toyota Supra, Chris Salkeld and Tom Rawlings took fifth in the Century Motorsport BMW whilst Team Brit took their best result of the season with sixth place in the specially modified McLaren 570s.
