For the first time in his racing career, Christian Rose will have the opportunity to compete for a championship title in 2023.
It has been confirmed on 10 January, that Rose will compete for the full schedule in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, driving for AM Racing. In addition, the team also stated that he will make select starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, with those races being announced at a later date. To prepare for the season, Rose will partake in ARCA’s pre-race practice session at Daytona International Speedway in late January.
In the past two years, Rose drove a partial schedule for Cook Racing Technologies, recording a best finish of 7th twice.
“I am incredibly humbled by this opportunity to compete full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for AM Racing,” stated Rose during a press release. “I have learned so much over the past two seasons of a part-time ARCA schedule that I am excited to elevate my schedule this year which includes visiting new tracks of new disciplines with the goal of being in contention to win races and compete for the championship.”
Prior to racing, Rose was a former college baseball player at the University of Maryland Eastern Shores.
“We are excited to return to the ARCA Menards Series full-time in 2023,” stated Kevin Cywinski, the team president of AM Racing. “Christian is a very passionate and dedicated driver who won us over with his positive outlook and contagious work ethic. We look forward to helping him strengthen his racing resume immensely this season.”
The sponsor and crew chief lineup will be announced at a later date. The ARCA Menards Series season-opener will kick off with the Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway on 18 February.
