As has been customary for the last two seasons in DTM, there is a show event that is hosted at the famed Olympic Stadium in Munich, where BMW is at its home.

The American Le Mans Series, presented by Tequila Patron, returns to the Lime Rock Park track after a 10 week break, with 31 cars, including 10 GT class entries, lining up to do battle on the short 1.474-mile Connecticut circuit, which is one of the quickest and busiest on the calendar. It commands the utmost concentration of the drivers, with the 7-turn track providing a challenge for all the drivers to keep racing fast, whilst staying out of trouble, but provides non-stop action.
As is always customary in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, the fastest international one-make series in the world opens its doors to guest drivers, who will look to give the regular drivers a run for their money, with the chance to beat more experienced and seasoned racers from other series.
The DTM will have its customary visit to the Norisring street circuit this weekend, but this year is somewhat poignant, and holds memories specifically for BMW Team Schnitzer, as it has been just over 20 years to the day, where they won there on June 28th, 1992, with a certain Joachim Winkelhoch behind the wheel of an M3.

Fortec Motorsport secured a 1-2 finish in Round 13 of the Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series at Brands Hatch which was fought out over the course of the race between Pipo Derani and Felix Serralles.
It’s been a busy time for all the Audi DTM drivers, as Edoardo Mortara, who won the first race in the DTM series for the luxury car manufacturer in Spielburg, received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree certificate yesterday from the Institute of Finance and Management in Geneva.
