BTCC attracts 1000 new potential marshals

1 Mins read

We all know about the trackside marshals and the hard work they put in to ensure the BTCC weekends run smoothly, and in 2009, another 1000 signed up to become a marshal, taking the number of recruits up to 4015 since the idea was started in 2007 by Peter Wilson and his team, Team Wilson.

Oulton Park saw more than 200 people signed up and Peter commented that the interest from ladies wanting to become a matshal was increasing as well:

“One thing we have really noticed as well in 2009 is the interest from females and it's growing all the time which is terrific to see”
