Onslow-Cole to stay at Aon for 2010?

1 Mins read

2010 for Tom Onslow-Cole looks set to be behind the wheel of the Ford Focus once again as he looks to secure a deal with Team Aon.

Onslow-Cole joined Team Aon mid-way through the 2009 season on a race-by-race basis after the departure of Alan Morrison, he repaid the team by scoring points at Rockingham and Brands Hatch.

The team is keen to retain the services of Onslow-Cole as team boss Mike Earle admits that he would love to keep the Tom Chilton/Onslow-Cole partnership on track.

Onslow-Cole has said he hasn’t been looking at any other options “Honestly, no,” he said. “We haven’t looked anywhere else as Arena is where I want to be and we just need to work to make it happen.

“The talks are going good. I really want to go back there and I was blown away with the team and the car as well. I think it will be a strong car this season and I would love to go back. We are in the process of making it happen and are getting closer, but it isn’t a done deal yet.”
