The Celtic Speed squad has confirmed that they will be running a three-car team for the 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season.
The Montrose-based squad will see Tommy Dreelan, Bob Lyons and George Brewster at the wheel of the three Carrera’s.
Irish born Dreelan has been based in Aberdeen for many years so Celtic Speed is an ideal choice for him, this season will see him take part in his second full season contesting the Pro-am1 category.
Aberdeen native Bob Lyons will stay in the Pro-am2 category and will be looking to better his 2009 season in which he challenged for the title.
Edingburgh-based Brewster joined the Carrera Cup at Croft last summer and will be looking forward to a full season in the Pro-am2 category.
Both Dreelan and Brewster will be at all 10 race weekends with Lyons missing the season opener at Thruxton due to holiday commitments.
“We’re really looking forward to the season,” said Dreelan. “I thoroughly enjoy racing in the Carrera Cup; it’s good value for money and extremely professional yet it is still a very friendly paddock.”
“I’m pleased that we’ve got all three cars set for the season,” said team boss Alan Keith. “We’ll be out testing in March.”
