1 Mins read

Following the earlier announcement from Stefan GP that they would be sending their equipment out to Bahrain for the opening Formula 1 race despite having an official entry spot the team have announced they will be debuting their car on 25 February in Portimao.

The S-01 will be presented before press ahead of the first test session for the team and has been developed with technical support from Toyota.

The engine badged as Stefan RG-01 will no doubt be the 2010 engine that was planned from Toyota after it is believed the team signed a deal with the former works team.

SGP will be testing with two drivers over three days.

The identity of these drivers are yet to be announced but it is thought that the first driver has two years experience of Formula 1 under his belt already.
