Toro Rosso have solid day in Jerez

1 Mins read

The long awaited sunny weather finally appeared in Jerez today, and Toro Rosso managed to take full advantage.

Jaime Alguersuari completed 120 laps in the new STR5 running on dry tyres, without any trouble, for the entire day.

The team had to negotiate flooded roads and motorways to get to the circuit, but once they arrived they were awarded with a 'straightforward' day of testing.

Alguersuari will be in the car for the final day of the test tomorrow.
