1 Mins read

After missing out on pole position to team-mate Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber and Red Bull were fined 10,000 euros after qualifying yesterday for an unsafe release from the pit lane.

After reviewing the evidence the stewards, which this weekend include former Grand Prix driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen, decided that Webber had breached Article 23.1 (j) of the sporting regulations, which requires that all pit lane and track safety measure apply to all practice sessions as they do for the race.
