Silverstone have today announced details of the entertainment awaiting the thousands of fans who will be attending the British Grand Prix next weekend.
The post-race party, which more than 20,000 are expect to stay behind for, will see Eddie Jordan and Friends as the music headliners and the World Cup Final will be shown live on a giant screen. It is expected that many star drivers, both past and present, will grace the stage during the evening. Last year’s party saw Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber, Damon Hill, Sir Jackie Stewart and David Coulthard appear before the crowd.
The Red Arrows, an RAF Tycoon and The Red Devils Parachute Display team will be in the skies over the course of the weekend and there will also be live concerts on the Friday and Saturday.
Fans will also have a better view of the action this year with new elevated spectator banking at Vale, and higher grandstand along the pit straight and a repositioned grandstand at Becketts. There is also a new spectator area at Vale.
