Bruno Senna, who was dropped by Hispania for the last race in Silverstone, says that he is determined to put in a strong performance at the German Grand Prix this weekend as he returns to the cockpit.
The Brazilian driver knows the Hockenheim circuit well, securing a podium in GP2 in 2008, and showing good pace at a DTM test early in 2009.
“I really like this track; there are plenty of high speed straights and some overtaking opportunities, like on turns two and four, so I believe we can be competitive with the other new teams and I'm looking forward to a good battle,” said Senna, speaking in Spain yesterday.
“Downforce is not so important here as it is at Silverstone or Barcelona, for example, but there will be plenty of focus on good traction out of the corners and getting the brake balance right. The stadium section in particular is crucial; it can make or break your lap and is so easy to get wrong if you're not precise enough.”
