No Further Comment From Lotus Over Naming Issue

1 Mins read

Lotus Racing have said today that they will not be making any further comment on their bid to use the ‘Team Lotus’ name after a meeting with Lotus Cars owner Proton.

Lotus Deputy Team Principal Dr Kamarudin Meranun met with Proton Adviser Dr Mahathir, who recommended that the team refrain from making any further comments on the matter.

The team put forward their case in the meeting, and now have ‘complete trust’ that a fair review will be made, and a decision will be announced in due course.
