Red Bull Announce Extension To Renault Deal

1 Mins read

Red Bull Racing have agreed a two-year extension to its current partnership with French engine manufacturer Renault.

Starting from this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, the RB6 cars of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will have more visible Renault logos on the noses, and the name will be on both drivers’ race helmet.

Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, acknowledged the good partnership between his team and Renault in the past, and hopes that their current success will continue into the future:

“We're pleased to announce this extension,” said Horner. “We have always enjoyed a very straightforward relationship with Renault and they have supported us extremely fairly during the past four seasons, contributing to our thirteen grand prix victories so far. The relationship continues to evolve and we look forward to working with them during our 2011 Formula One World Championship campaign.”
