1 Mins read

The British Automobile Racing Club and Dunlop have released the dates of their relaunched and renamed BARC Dunlop package for 2011.

The package of championships will kick off on the GP Circuit at Silverstone on March 26th and conclude at Croft on September 25th. In between will be visits to Snetterton, Thruxton, Rockingham, Donington where they will be supporting the World Touring Car Championship and Brands Hatch.

An announcement will be made next week regarding the confirmation of new partnerships and premium guest championships at promoted meetings. These are to include the newly named Production Touring Car Trophy and Intersteps which will give an opportunity to gain vital experience to aspiring F3 and BTCC drivers.

James Bailey of Dunlop tyres said, “BARC has done an incredible job putting together a calendar that features top BTCC circuits and the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit as a fantastic season starter”. He continued, “To race at the only UK round of the World Touring Car Championship is a great opportunity for all the championships. For Production Touring Car drivers it will give them the profile they deserve for their career – and for their sponsors”
