Dean Stoneman Withdraws From Racing On Health Grounds

The reigning Formula Two champion Dean Stoneman who recently signed up to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series this season with ISR Racing, has withdrawn after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this week.

According to a statement on his official website, specialists have made the diagnosis early and are confident that he will make a full recovery. Treatment is due to start immediately.

Dean is aiming to return to action as soon as possible. His family have requested that their privacy is respected in the meantime.

The Checkered Flag team would like to wish Dean a full and speedy recovery.
