Red Bull to launch RB7 at Valencia test

1 Mins read

Red Bull have today announced that their 2011 car – the RB7 – will be unveiled to the world on Tuesday 1st February in Valencia, moments before the first day of pre-season testing gets under way.

The Adrian Newey-designed car will be displayed in the pit lane of the Ricardo Tormo circuit on the opening morning of the first test session of 2011.

This announcement is significant as rivals McLaren have chosen not to debut their new car until the test session in Jerez, which takes place the following week.

Red Bull missed the first test session last season, but that proved no obstacle to success as the RB6 went on to take the 2010 Constructors’ Championship and Sebastian Vettel won the drivers’ title. Mark Webber will again partner the German for Red Bull in the coming season.
