Williams Confirm Debut Date For FW33

1 Mins read

Williams have today confirmed that it will be running its 2011 car, the FW33, on the first day of pre-season testing in Valencia – Tuesday 1st February.

The car will run with an interim livery, and so this debut will not constitute an official launch. The team will announce an official launch of the FW33, complete with its 2011 livery, at a later date.

This announcement rubbishes speculation that Williams would, like McLaren, be running an interim car at the Valencia test.

Rubens Barrichello will undertake the first day and a half of testing duties in Valencia, whilst Pastor Maldonado will take over on the Wednesday afternoon for the remainder of the test.
