Ferrari have a busy Day Three in Barcelona

1 Mins read

Felipe Massa was behind the wheel of the Ferrari F150th Italia in Barcelona for the first time today as he completed123 laps on a busy day for the team.

Day Three at the Circuit de Catalunya began with some wet running, courtesy of some overnight rain. In the afternoon, once the track had completely dried, Massa then tackled a full race simulation.

“It was a really busy day, during which we managed to do a lot of kilometres in very different conditions,” explained the Brazilian, talking to ferrari.com. “It was important to be able to complete a simulation of a Grand Prix, which we did while trying to make the tyres last as long as possible: it's fair to say that it went off without any real surprises.”

Felipe will be back in the car tomorrow for the final day of testing in Barcelona. After that, Ferrari, like all the other teams, await news of whether the scheduled test in Bahrain will go ahead next week.
