Porsche GB Support British Motorsport Students

1 Mins read

Porsche GB has confirmed its continued backing of British motorsport students by once again offering a work experience placement within the Porsche Carrera Cup GB organisation in the 2011 season.

The recipient of the unique opportunity is Alistair Humphrys, a final year student studying mechanical engineering at Loughborough University. The 23 year old will join the championship's parts and technical team for the 2011 race weekends, helping the engineering team that oversees all technical aspects of the Carrera Cup series.

Alistair, from Towcester near Silverstone, has previously completed a year's internship with Porsche AG in Germany and is looking for a full time position in motorsport when he finishes his five year course in June.

Humphrys commented: “I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with Porsche once again and get involved with the Carrera Cup GB. It's a great chance to gain more experience of the racing industry.”
