McLaren Duo Reprimanded for Yellow Flag Incident in Barcelona

Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button have been given a reprimand by race stewards following an investigation into their conduct under yellow flags in Barcelona, as has Red Bull driver Mark Webber.

The investigation was announced shortly after today’s Spanish Grand Prix, alleging that the three drivers, along with Toro Rosso‘s Jaime Alguersuari, had failed to slow down for yellow flags being waved to warn of Heikki Kovalainen‘s stranded Lotus.

All drivers escaped time penalties, meaning that Hamilton, Button and Webber will keep their finishing positions of second, third and fourth respectively.
