Morad Replaces Dillmann At Carlin For Barcelona

1 Mins read

Daniel Morad will return to the GP3 Series field this weekend, replacing Tom Dillmann in Carlin's lineup for the second round of the season at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.

Canadian Morad raced for Status Grand Prix in the inaugural GP3 season in 2010, finishing 12th in the final standings with one victory. He spent the winter trying to secure a drive for 2011 and although he missed the opening round at Istanbul he has now signed with Carlin for the remainder of the season.

German Formula 3 champion Dillmann took pole position for the opening race at Istanbul, finishing the race in third. The Frenchman says that he is already working hard with his management to return to the series in time for the third round of the season at Valencia. In the meantime he will race at the Grand Prix de Pau this weekend with the Motopark Academy team.
