Sauber: Perez Has ‘No Serious Injuries’ After Monaco Qualifying Crash

Sauber have confirmed that Sergio Perez has no serious injuries after his heavy crash in the closing stages of the Monaco qualifying session this afternoon.

The Mexican driver was taken to the Hospital Princess Grace in Monaco where doctors have said that he suffered concussion and a sprained thigh in his high-speed collision, but has no broken bones or other further injuries.

The reason for the accident is being investigated by the team.
