Sauber test and reserve driver Esteban Gutièrrez will be carrying out a straight line test for the team in Vairano, a track near Milan, on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Mexican, who is currently competing in GP2, will be helping Sauber to take aerodynamic measurements of their current car, the C30.
“I'm very grateful to be able to do this kind of test for the team,” says Gutièrrez. “Although it is not a regular test with many laps and normal set-up work it will give me some new experience of further work with the team and I will be able to learn a bit more for my future.”
Gutièrrez, who won the sprint race in Valencia at the end of June, will take part in the final two races of the GP2 season the following weekend in Monza.
