Only four points separate the top three drivers in the 2011 Porsche Carrera Cup GB as the titanic championship battle between Stephen Jelley, Michael Meadows and James Sutton moves onto Brands Hatch for the penultimate meeting of the 2011 season.
The infamous Grand Prix circuit greets the title protagonists, with SAS/Redline's Meadows and Sutton, and Parker with Juta's Jelley all looking for strong weekends to seize the upper hand heading into the final rounds at Silverstone.
Also in contention is Jelley's team-mate Euan Hankey, who took a glorious double win last time out at Rockingham to maintain his slim chances of taking the championship. All four will be looking to take the wins at Brands, but will have to beat a Porsche superstar to do so, with Porsche Supercup regular Nick Tandy joining the grid for the remainder of the season with Nationwide/Motorbase.
In Pro-Am1, the championship battle isn't quite as close, with Juta Racing's Jonas Gelzinis set to seal the class crown at Brands, the Lithuanian heading to Kent with a seventy one point advantage. The fight for second is fierce though, with Celtic Speed's Rory Butcher, Oman Air/Redline's Ahmad Al Harthy and Dextra/JD Pierce by Parker's Derek Pierce all fighting it out for the runner up spot.
In Pro-Am2, the drivers best seven weekend count for the final standings, with the class producing another close title battle. George Brewster and Keith Webster lead the way for Celtic Speed and Redline Racing respectively, separated by just a point at the top.
