Rebellion Racing Aim For Strong Silverstone Result

1 Mins read

Rebellion Racing has said they are confident they can carry their strong form into the 6 Hours of Silverstone race in September, as they aim to take the Manufacturers' Championship.

After claiming a one-two in the 6 Hours of Imola in July, the Swiss team look to another good result at Silverstone as the series returns after its summer break.

“We head into the next race at Silverstone with confidence but also realism,” said Team Manager Bart Hayden. “This race could put us into a really strong position for the various Championships. We are currently well positioned in both the ILMC and LMS but we will have six hours of extremely tough racing against very strong opposition to get through first.”

The team could potentially win the Manufactures' Championship at Silverstone as they are currently co-leading the LMS Teams' Championship and could secure third spot in the ILMC Teams' Championship, behind the factory Peugeot and Audi teams.

“We have confidence in the pace of our cars and our determination will be high for the best possible results to get closer to our targets. We want to win the LMS Teams’ Championship and we are close to that now with just two races to go and in the ILMC we are targeting to be the best placed private team.”

The 6 Hours of Silverstone gets underway on Sunday 11 September 2011.
