Over five million fans from across the globe headed to the Ferrari website this morning to see the team unveil the F2012 – the car that Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will drive in the coming Formula 1 season.

Snow had forced the team to cancel their big launch at Maranello, leading to today’s online unveiling.

The car will now head straight to Valencia for the first pre-season test, which will be held next week.

Ferrari also announced today that they would continue their collaboration with Spanish bank Santander until the end of the 2017 season.
