KartMania 2012
The UK leading Kart show, KartMania, has announced that the 2012 event (November 17-18) will take place at the Silverstone Wing complex.
The show, in association with Karting Magazine, attracted over 3,500 visitors in 2011 and the move to Silverstone, where the show will become a regular fixture allows for expansion and the introduction of several new elements to the event.
“We are delighted to have secured Silverstone as the new venue for KartMania,” said organiser Martin Capenhurst. “This move provides us with an opportunity to substantially increase the size of the show, have four specific areas, which includes a live area for visitors to try and test karts, and of course the opportunity to take part in in the inaugural Rotax Kart Mania kart challenge.”
The kart challenge – just one of two ROTAX live experiences planned for 2012 – will give visitors to the show the chance to compete against friends and other show attendees over a number of heats, with a selection of prizes on offer.
The second part of the live experience will give aspiring karters the opportunity to sample the latest equipment and developments from a number of manufacturers as they finalise their plans for the 2013 season. In the expanded main exhibition space would-be racers will be able to meet with championship organisers, suppliers and other key people.
Adult tickets for KartMania 2012 at £15.00, under 16s £7.50 and tickets for MSA license holders are £10.00 if brought in advance. For more information go to www.kartmania.co.uk.
