Jonas Gelzinis is the latest driver to benifit from Michelin‘s on-going backing of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB after being awarded a brand new set of tyres ahead of rounds 11 and 12 at Snetterton this weekend.

2012 has been a revelation for the Lithuanian racer as he looks to follow up his 2011 Pro-Am1 title with a championship title with the Pro category title in which he is currently sitting in second place behind Michael Meadows.

In his third full sesaon the Juta Racing star makes the epic journey from Lithuania to the UK for each round.

Having been the control tyre supplier for the Carrera Cup GB for ten seasons since the championship was created in 2003, Michelin is once more supporting the teams and drivers with the award of a complete set of slick racing tyres at each event. Before the start of testing, a name is drawn from a hat to receive the tyres, with a value of more than £1200.
