Toro Rosso Choose Razia and Cecotto For Young Driver Test

1 Mins read

Toro Rosso, like other teams this week, have announced the drivers that they have selected for the Young Driver Test in Abu Dhabi on 6-8th November.

Luiz Razia, runner-up in this year’s GP2 series, will be in the STR7 on the Tuesday and Thursday of the test. The 23-year-old from Brazil was at this test last year with Lotus, and also took part in FP1 with the team at the 2011 Chinese Grand Prix.

Johnny Cecotto will be in the car on the Wednesday of the test. The Venezuelan, who has raced in GP2 since 2009, finished a career-best ninth place in the series this year. The 23-year-old took pole position and a race win at Monaco, and scored another victory in Hungary.

Toro Rosso sister team Red Bull announced earlier this week that Antonio Felix da Costa and Robin Frijns had been selected for this test.
