Williams are the first team to announce that they will delay the launch of there 2013 challenger until after the first F1 pre-season test.
The team will launch the FW35 at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona on day one of the second pre-season test, Tuesday 19th February.
At the earlier test, which begins on 5th February in Jerez, Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas will be in the FW34 – the 2012 car – in order to test ‘key development parts’ for the launch of the new car.
Williams are the first team to confirm that their 2013 car will not be ready for the start of pre-season testing. Renault, Caterham and Marussia are yet to announce the launch dates of their new cars.
