Dennis Targets Title Hat-Trick In Eurocup

Rising single-seater star Jake Dennis has begun his preparations for the biggest season of his car-racing career to date, with the 17 year old graduating full-time into Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 with Fortec Motorsport this season.

The reigning McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner heads into the new campaign looking to complete a sensational single-seater hat-trick, having secured the Formula Renault Northern European Cup title last year to add to his InterSteps success in 2011.

Jake Dennis 2 - Chris SchotanusDennis, who will once again compete with backing from the Racing Steps Foundation, has his sights firmly set on taking the Eurocup crown, despite it being his rookie campaign in the series.

<p “>“The past couple of seasons since we moved into single-seaters has certainly gone very fast and the success we’ve had is absolutely fantastic, for myself, the Racing Steps Foundation and Fortec,” Dennis told The Checkered Flag.

“Getting the hat-trick would be perfect and having done the double so far, moving into the Eurocup as a rookie and getting the hat-trick is my aim.”  

<p “>Dennis, who was recently announced as a BRDC SuperStar, began his pre-season testing at the end of February at Motorland, with further tests planned this month at Paul Ricard, the Red Bull Ring and Catalunya.
