Dan Wells is set to make his racing return in the Formula Masters China Series over the remainder of the 2013 season.
Wells, who has been forced to sit on the sidelines over the 2013 season so far, will compete in the final round of the championship at Shanghai, as well as the non-championship Macau GP event, with the Cebu Pacific Air by KCMG outfit.
The British single-seater racer finished as vice-champion in the 2012 equivalent series, named Formula Pilota, with three victories and nine podiums to his name. He hopes to return to winning ways in the remaining races, before eyeing a step up into Japanese Formula 3 next season.
Wells said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be able to announce my participation in the rest of FCMS, especially Macau, which is my favourite circuit. It is a testimony to all the hard work everyone has put in, especially my main sponsor Start JG, who have been my partners since my arrival in Hong Kong in the middle of last year. I’m looking forward to getting back into the car and competing at the sharp end”.
