Tommy Ostgaard will step up to the ‘racecar’ class of the Michelin Clio Cup Series with Scuderia Vittoria for the upcoming Autumn Cup at Rockingham.
The Norwegian racer dominated the ‘roadcar’ class of the championship this season with SWB Motorsport, taking six class wins in the eight races.
The 20 year old, who made his UK race debut in the Protyre Formula Renault series with SWB in 2012, is looking forward to racing a full-blown Clio racer for the first time.
“I am thrilled to be racing in the main race series in the Autumn Cup. This is a fantastic opportunity and will be a great experience in preparations for my plans in 2014,” said Ostgaard
“I have had a fantastic season competing in the road series with Simon Baldry and SWB Motorsport, but I’m looking forward to meeting the guys at SV and would like to thank Danny Buxton and his team for this chance.
“I’m really looking forward to racing with them and driving again at Rockingham, one of my favourite circuits.”
