Kaiser Chiefs To Kick Off British GP Weekend

1 Mins read

Silverstone Circuits Limited has announced that three-time Brit Award winning indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs will open the 2014 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix on the evening of Thursday 3 July.

Tickets for the concert, the first of a five-date UK tour for the band, are open to existing British Grand Prix ticket holders or fans who book F1 passes before Thursday 23 January at £37.50. The tickets will then go on general sale at 08:00 on Thursday 23 January.

Fans will have the option to purchase a ticket for the Thursday evening concert – including free parking within Silverstone Circuit – or combine it with passes for the British Grand Prix.

“We are delighted to announce that Kaiser Chiefs will be playing on the eve of the British Grand Prix weekend and believe they will be a very popular addition to the event,” said Silverstone Managing Director, Richard Phillips. “Over the years the British Grand Prix has become so much more than just a race on the Sunday. Fans now come for the entire weekend and make the most of the entertainment that we have on offer. Customer feedback tells us that the fans thoroughly enjoy the concerts we hold over the course of the Grand Prix event, and Kaiser Chiefs will be equally well received and a great way to start the weekend.”
