“The season can’t come soon enough for me, I’ve been excited to get behind the wheel of the Turner Motorsport No 97 BMW M3 since the deal was done.” Said Kimber-Smith. “I will be driving with my good friend Michael Marsal who has shown that he is one of the top drivers in the series. So the package is very strong and I can’t wait to showcase this all at the Roar. 2014 is going to be the toughest ever year for the Continental series and I am proud to be in the Yellow and Blue BMW.”
Into the TUDOR Championship and the team have acquired a BMW Z4 GT3 to be used by Dalla Lana and new for 2014 driver Dane Cameron who moves into the GT class having raced in the PC and Daytona Prototype categories of the TUDOR Championship’s forebears. The team are hoping that the driver voted best rookie GT driver in Grand-Am in 2012, can help the team beat off the assembled Porsche masses with occasional Audi and Aston Martin challengers.
The team will have their first test of 2014 at the Roar Before the 24 this weekend at Daytona.
