The Asian Le Mans Series has opened up entries for the CN class of the 2014 Championship.
The class, which is new for 2014, is intended to provide a low-cost prototype category for the teams in order to boost grids, as well as provided a stepping stone into the LMP2 class.
For 2014 there are eight eligible cars, one of which is the Pescarolo 02 (full list below), with all of the cars running a spec Honda 2L 4 Cylinder engine and carbon survival cell, as specified by FIA regulations.
The CN class will make its AsLMS debut alongside the existing LMP2 and GT/GT Am classes at Inje, South Korea, for the first of five three hour races in 2014.
