Kyle-Henney and Gallagher Bolster Growing Carrera Cup GB Grid

1 Mins read

Peter Kyle-Henney and Kieran Gallagher have become two late additions to this year’s Porsche Carrera Cup of Great Britain grid, both running with Parr Motorsport.

Kyle-Henney will be a familiar name to many who have watched Porsche racing in the UK, running in the GT3 Cup Challenge series last season. He took a win at Brands Hatch in that series and is looking forward to his step-up to the main championship.

This is a serious championship which has produced some exceptional drivers over the years” commented the Hampshire-based, Sesanti backed racer. “I have to be realistic as to which end of the grid I will be at” he continued.

The second addition to the championship is 24 year old Kieran Gallagher, who made a one-off appearance in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Knockhill last year, behind the wheel of a Team HARD Vauxhall Insignia.

Gallagher intends to dovetail his debut in the Carrera Cup GB with another attack on the British GT supporting VW Racing Cup. “I just want to get out there and do well” said the Glasgow based driver. Equally as excited is team boss Paul Robe “It’s great that we have got another young driver on board” he commented.

Round One of the Carrera Cup GB on the short Brands Hatch Indy circuit is now only days away, the grid beginning to look very healthy indeed.
