Record 20 Truck Entry For Formula Off-Road X Games Races

1 Mins read

A record 20-truck entry will take part in the Formula Off-Road Presented by TRAXXAS Stadium Super Trucks race this weekend at X Games Austin.

Sunday will see two heats of 10 trucks do battle with the first eight finishers progressing to the 16 truck final.

It will be a busy weekend for some drivers such as Justin Matney, Jay Reichert, B.J. Baldwin and Robby Gordon who are all in Mexico today for the Baja 500. Justin Lofton was on duty in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series race at Texas Motor Speedway last night too.

Some of the drivers had chance to practice on the circuit yesterday and other practice will take place at 8am local time tomorrow morning with qualifying immediately following the session.

E.J. Viso will be looking to mantain the pace from the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix weekend where he swept all three races to take three-in-a-row wins. Apdaly Lopez, P.J. Jones and Robby Gordon will also be looking to add to their 2014 win tally.
