Carrera Cup GB Entry Boosted By Debutants

1 Mins read

Two newcomers to the Porsche Carrera Cup of Great Britain will boost the series’ entry list for the races at Knockhill this weekend.

The guest car is this meeting run by In2Racing and piloted by William Plant. The student at Oxford Brookes University is utilising the weekend to further build his stature in Sports and GT competition, as well as to evaluate a future move into the Carrera Cup.

I am looking at options for next year and I want to keep on progressing,” the nineteen year old commented.

In2Racing will also this weekend run an additional entry for two-times Scottish Legends Champion Carol Brown. Brown has extensive experience of Knockhill but this weekend will be her first experience of the Carrera Cup machine.

I have thrown myself in at the deep end and put myself right out there this weekend but I have a lot of circuit knowledge. I would love to do a bit more Carrera Cup if I can raise the budget,” she added.
