Martin Cao extended his championship lead after taking victory in race two of the weekend in the Cooper Tyres British F3 Championship.
Cao took the win after repeating his heroics from the last round of the series at Thruxton-getting the jump off of the line to beat Fortec Motorsport teammate and pole-sitter Matt Rao to the first corner.
From there on out, Cao took charge, setting consecutive fastest lap times to leave Rao his wake, with race one victor Santino Ferrucci circulating in third after earlier dispensing of Double R’s Dan Wells.
Elsewhere and Formula Ford regular Max Marshall endured a poor time of things, with the Brit out-braking himself on the entry to Druids, with the gravel trap his only option and retirement a certainty.
But no-one could stop the Fortec juggernaut out front, with Cao taking a dominant win over teammates Rao and Ferrucci, and extending his championship lead whilst doing it.
Wells took a conservative fourth for Double R, and Camren Kaminsky again finished ahead of Li Zhi Zong in fifth, with the Carlin driver rounding out the field in sixth.
