There will be another new face on track in October as the Sauber F1 team confirmed that Sergey Sirotkin will make his debut for the team in the first practice session of the 2014 Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix.
Sirotkin already has a little experience of the circuit having driven a 2012 Sauber C31 in September last year for promotional purposes.
Heading in to the 2014 season it was expected that the young Russian would take a race seat after joining the team in August 2013, but the team opted to retain Esteban Gutierrez.
The first day of this years Bahrain pre-season test saw Sirotkin complete 76 laps behind the wheel of the Ferrari-powered Sauber C33 so heads in to the session with some prior experience.
Sirotkin is currently competing in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and took a win in front of his home crowd in Moscow earlier this season, he also secured a podium at the last round in Germany.
