Ricciardo to star at Infiniti Exhibition opening

1 Mins read

Three-time 2015 Formula 1 race winner Daniel Ricciardo will be the guest of honour and will open the five-day Infiniti Exhibition in London on Wednesday January 28th.

The Red Bull Racing driver will appear alongside an F1 car at the event, which is to promote the Infiniti brand’s opening of new stores at Westfield Shopping Centres in London, Shepherd’s Bush and Stratford City.

Ricciardo will be interviewed on the Infiniti events stage at 4:45pm, and will also give fans the opportunity to get an autograph in a public signing session afterwards.

Francois Goupil de Bouille, Infiniti Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa, welcomed the announcement of Ricciardo’s presence at the event, saying: “Infiniti is one of the fastest growing premium brands in the UK and in Europe, and Daniel Ricciardo is a rising star in F1.

“This is a great match. We are looking forward to presenting him at Westfield.”

The new Infiniti Q70, the Q70 Design and the Infiniti BTCC car will also be on display, as well as a display showing design elements ‘all the way from the drawing board to clay modelling through to concept’ – a model of the Q80 Inspiration model will also be on show.

The British Touring Car Championship car will be complete with its full ‘Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing’ livery as the team readies itself for its debut in the series in 2015. The team will be raising money for the British Paratroopers charity ‘Support Our Paras’.

The Q70 Design and the latest generation Q70, which debuted in the 2014 Paris Motor Show with its new ‘ultra-refined’ range of 2.2-litre diesel engines, will be on show to the public having recently gone on sale in the United Kingdom for the first time.
