1 Mins read

Teeside Karting have officially launched the 2015 Le Mans 24 Hour kart race this weekend at the Autosport Show International.

The landmark 25th running of the event will see the competitors race in a new fleet of BIZ Le Mans Twin Karts, with the race solely for hire karts.

Forty six karts are expected to compete in the race around the Alain Prost circuit, including ‘The Kart Force Team’ which supports ex-military service personnel.

Entry for the 2015 event costs £2,750 including the use of a new kart, race tyres, full technical support and online electronic timing, as well as camping in the Le Mans Karting Motorsport Village.

“I’m delighted with the take up so early on for our Le Mans 24hr event, it’s always a brilliant event and the number of returning teams shows this,” said Bob Pope of Teeside Karting.

“The revamped Circuit Alain Prost will once again be a brilliant venue for the race, they have new pit garages and a new restaurant.”
