2015 Clio Series Champions To Receive Prize Clio Cup Test

1 Mins read

The two class champions in the Michelin Clio Cup Series will once again receive prize tests in a Renault UK Clio Cup car this season, it has been announced.

Just like outright 2014 champion Mike Robinson and Roadcar class victor Anton Spires did last year, this year’s champions will get runs in the official pre-event practice sessions ahead of the Clio Cup finale in October.

Multiple Renault UK Clio Cup champions Team Pyro will once again run the fourth-generation Clio racer for the test, which will take place on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit.

“We’re delighted to be able to provide this prize again for our two champions,” said Michelin Clio Cup Series promoter Simon North.

“It’s important for the Race Series and Road Series to offer such an opportunity as the vast majority of our competitors will be seeking to graduate into the Renault UK Clio Cup. It’s an ideal chance for our champions to impress on a bigger stage.”
