Andy Jordan is targeting a championship challenge in the Michelin Clio Cup Series this season with Finesse Motorsport.
It proved to be a luckless 2014 in the category for Jordan, a variety of on-track dramas leading to six DNF’s and just tenth in the final championship standings.
The Bridgnorth racer did secure three top five finishes early in the season though with Total Control Racing, including a best of third place at Oulton Park.
Jordan joins Pete Bennett and Adam Hatfield at Finesse, who are looking to expand further to a four-car entry ahead of the opening rounds at Rockingham on April 11/12.
“I definitely want podiums and to try and win,” said Jordan, who is also competing in the Britcar 24 Hour race at Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit in late April at the wheel of his Clio.
“The pace was there last season, we just had really bad luck – I know with better luck we can be right up there and the aim is to fight for the championship. It’s good to be with Finesse, they’re a top team and I know we’ve got a great chance to have a strong year.”
