Dino Zamparelli is aiming to bounce back from a tough opening Porsche Carrera Cup GB weekend of the season at Brands Hatch four weeks ago with a positive showing at Spa-Francorchamps this week.

A tough qualifying session left Zamparelli on the backfoot in his maiden Carrera Cup races in Kent, the Anglo-Italian battling to eleventh in the opening race before a first corner incident ended his second race in the Paddock Hill gravel trap.

The ex-Formula Renault BARC champion now heads to Spa hoping to get his title challenge back on track, and will have the benefit of the experience of competing at the iconic circuit in each of the last three seasons in FIA Formula Two and then GP3.

“I had a really good race there last year, so I’ve got some experience of the circuit,” Zamparelli told Bristol Sport.

“I’m looking forward to driving the Porsche there, I think it will be an interesting race. I’m hungrier than ever to go into Spa and make up for Brands.”
